As the Water Policy and Issues Coordinator, Rebecca works with many of the Divisions in the Department of Natural Resources regarding a variety of state water issues including the federal NEPA process, wild and scenic river designations, sustainability, endangered species programs and water rights policy.
Prior to joining the Department of Natural Resources, Rebecca worked in both the public and private sector as a consulting engineer. Since receiving her B.S. from the Colorado School of Mines in 2001, Rebecca has focused on water issues throughout the state of Colorado. She went on to receive her M.S. in Environmental Science and Engineering, also at the Colorado School of Mines.
In her spare time she enjoys traveling around the world and volunteering her time to water projects in Africa.
